WOW! From the first time I contacted the Audibel Hearing Center & made an initial appointment; I was treated like a VIP. The receptionists Kimberly & Brittany were both super friendly & offered me water or coffee each time I visited the office. ( I hope I got their names right). Audiologist Jeff Brown ( no relation) was one of the most courteous & knowledgeable people within his field! He treated me like royalty, spent the time necessary to explain every facet of my hearing loss, & educated me thoroughly about my hearing aids, in their operation & maintenance. I came in to Jeff to get my hearing aids adjusted and cleaned for the first time there. I have had these for two years from another store. I have never liked this set from day one. Had several issues but the worst was too much background noise. Jeff said he could take care of that. In 30 minutes he reprogrammed them and I have never been happier! My husband said the next time I need hearing aids I will definitely change over to this doctor. Where my husband went they tested him but nothing like Audibel did on me. So instead of getting one new patient you got two.

My 1st experience with an Audiologist/Hearing Center and I could not have asked for a better place! Trisha was helpful and pleasant on the phone and when I arrived with my mother for her appointment. Dusty brought us back to have my Mother take the very detailed and organized set of hearing tests. He was empathetic, friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. Our next appointment to discuss Hearing Aid options (USA made in Minnesota 👍), we were greeted by friendly Melony before Dusty greeted us warmly. Dusty explained in detail all our options and answered all of our questions before we made our choice. He even helped my Mom pick out the color of the device to match the skin tone of her ear.😀 We are looking forward to working with Audibel for my Mother's continuing Hearing needs. 6-19-24 Was back to see Trish and Dusty for a maintenance appt for my mother's hearing aids today. As usual, Trish treated us warmly and then Dusty walked us back. Dusty makes my mom feel relaxed as he cleans her Hearing Aids, checks her charger, and goes over her usage data since our last visit. I purchased my hearing at a company other than Audibel. When I called to ask about a broken receiver wire. The technician immediately asked for the serial number and said the hearing aid was under warranty and to come in at a scheduled time. Dr Keith cleaned both my hearing aides. Attached a new receiver. Ran tests on both aides. Then gave me a hearing test and adjusted to my latest results. I had another problem that Dr Keith worked very hard to try to solve. I highly recommend the Audibel location at 1598 62nd Ave North in St Petersburg for their professionalism.

Four doctors kept on telling me that I needed a hearing test because my left ear would plug up intermittently. I was very adamant about getting a hearing test because I didn't think I had any problem. I made an appointment at Audibel and found out that I do have mild hearing loss. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything to me that I do have hearing loss that I need to check annually. The testing was very in-depth, and other doctor said I had no wax but yet the doctor removed ear wax and you could see him remove it on a huge screen. Highly technical testing and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming here.

I've been wearing hearing aids my entire life. Finding a audiologist that meets your needs is hard to come by these days. Most places make you feel rushed or leave you with more questions then answers. I can honestly say Christina has a gift. Automatically my first interaction with her I already felt a deep sense of compassion. She had such a massive impact on me due to the compassion and knowledge of the hearing aid world. As someone who is deaf we want to able to hear just like anyone else who isn't. Dakota and Jasmine are absolutely amazing as well. My 94 year old mom has had hearing aids for 3 years. They were originally purchased near her home in the Northeast. The past 6 months have been increasingly difficult for her and after going to an ENT to be evaluated for ear wax and tending to the upkeep of her aids, we were totally at a loss with how to help her. While we were vacationing in Florida, we made an appointment at Audibel’s Spring Hill location and it could not have gone any better. Christina was an angel. Her knowledge, patience and empathy were unmatched. She was extremely thorough as well and we realized mom’s hearing had declined significantly and she needed new hearing aids which was the last thing we expected. I am happy to say that Christina changed her life! Mom is more engaged and so much happier! We cannot thank her enough for her hard work and compassion. A very pleasant, friendly and professional young lady behind the desk. Asked me if I wanted any coffee or water. Water was bottled and nicely cold. The atmosphere of the office is clean, organized with educational material. I was 15 minutes early and filled out all my paperwork online prior to my appointment. I was next seen by “Joey” who tested my hearing. I am a former Family Nurse Practitioner. Overall, my hearing was tested so unbelievably done with in-depth testing. Scoped my ears so I could see my eardrums on a big screen! Hearing tested, Audible, Mastoid bone testing ( behind your ear ). Overall experience was incredible! Very impressive! Joey was professional, a good listener, used good eye contact, patient, proficient and knowledgeable! I felt I was really in good hands! I left feeling really happy, and will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors! Thank you!

My first time calling about getting my hearing tested and I didn't know where to start. I called several places and it was a call center rather than the office I thought I was calling. One place I called answered but to check my hearing was $150. I tried Audibel on South Pasadena and a wonderful person answered the phone and her name is Erica. She was so helpful, kind and courteous and made me an appointment and the hearing test was free! I met with Rhonda Smith who has a magnetic personality and was able to explain everything to me and my son who came with me. The hearing aids I now wear are amazing and life changing. I had no idea what I was not hearing in conversations. I also go back so Rhonda can check my ears and see if the hearing aids are working well for me. They are working great and I love going back to have Rhonda check things. If you are looking for a place to get your hearing tested, this is the place. You will not be disappointed. Taking so much time and effort to make sure I am hearing everything!! Yes these hearing aids are a bit pricier but well worth the investment to hear better!! They even checked my insurance for benefits!! And found some coverage that Costco never checked for! I am so glad I made the switch to Audibel!!

Several years ago I had an adverse reaction to a migraine medication that left me with permanent hearing loss on my left ear. As a teacher, with a loud A/C blower in my classroom, I found it difficult to hear my students speaking to me, and in life, could not answer a phone call with my left ear and eventually got to a point where I was sitting in a loud/crowded room and could not hear what the person seated directly to my left was saying. That is when I decided it was time to look into a hearing aid device. I went to Audible and met Ashley Smiles, H.A.S., and Emma, and both were reassuring and calming as the whole process made me nervous. I had no idea what to expect walking in. The tests were completed in the clinic and my hearing loss in the left ear was indeed significant but not beyond what the Aris could help with. Once I agreed to use the Aris 45 day trial, Ashley placed the device in my ear and for the first time in many years I heard a voice clearly on that side in the left ear and honestly felt the emotions of everything I had been missing. (It truly was an emotional, happy, moment.) As a 57 year old, I thought I was too young, and had that vanity part of me not wanting to give in, but the wire is thin and light and practically unnoticeable as it simply blends with the little crease (of age) in front of my ear and my light hair. I wrote this review because I see the passion in Ashley and Emma in helping people discover what they’ve been missing AND because this little device has made a significant difference with my ability to hear and have conversations in crowded restaurants, take phone calls, simple television watching volume (and closed captioning is no longer always needed) and has definitely made a difference with me being able to hear my students. Somehow the Aris tones down the sound of my AC blower allowing me to hear student voices significantly better. My right ear was doing a great deal of work compensating for the loss of what I was hearing, or not hearing, and although I am still making adjustments, I am learning that I do not have to depend on my right ear for everything, and I don’t have to “mouth watch” when conversing to see what they are saying. I can hear it all now. Thank you Emma and Ashley for being so kind and excited to guide me through this little life changing journey. I appreciate you both as will the others who need assistance with being able to simply hear the little things in life again. I truly didn’t know what I was missing but am grateful to experience simple sounds again. And thank you Mike W. for enthusiastically urging me to “just give it a try.” You were right.

The lady, Alicia, who did the testing of my hearing , was very professional and thorough with the tests! She fully explained everything to me. She suggested the AI hearing aids, the only drawback is that my insurance only covers $2,000 of the $5400 cost for the hearing aids, so I got qualified for Care Credit that will pay for the rest and I will have to pay them $146 a month for 60 months to pay them off! That's going to make things hard on me, but hey, I need to be able to hear, definitely!

My mom was having trouble hearing with the hearing aids that she had. I took her to a doctor to have her ears examined and we were told that she had good hearing aids and there was nothing more that could be done for her. Time passed and mom stopped going to social functions because she was unable to hear what was being said and started to get reclusive and depressed. I asked her if she would be willing to go to Audible and have them give her a hearing examination. She agreed to go, so I made an appointment at the Audibel Hearing Center in Clearwater. Donnie Limeberry, HAS, performed the examination on my mom (it took about two hours), and told us that he would be able to provide her with hearing aids that would make it possible for her to hear again. Mom was skeptical, but she went ahead and ordered new hearing aids. Imagine our surprise when Donnie put her new hearing aids in on our return visit and she could hear him and could hear what I was saying from a chair behind her! (Without reading my lips.) Mom is attending social gatherings again and is able to hear what people are saying and I don't have to yell at her anymore! I can't say enough about the Audibel Hearing Center in Clearwater. Alicia and Donnie are patient, understanding and helpful, and I got my old mom back and she can hear again!

For many years my husband missed out on a lot of things.He wasn’t able to hear the message the preacher was giving. At the theatre he had to wear the “hearing impaired headphones”. I also had to help him out when we went out to eat at restaurants or simply trying to communicate. All of this took place because we weren’t able to afford new hearing aids. One unexpected day, my husband decided to take his old hearing aids to see if they could be fixed. Unfortunately they couldn’t. Then he had a hearing test done. We explained to the tech what our financial situation was, she stepped out of the room and made sure we didn’t leave until we had worked something out. She had spoken with the owner. Needless to say I was very touched. My husband got hearing aids! Thanks to Mr. Wheeler for such a blessing! We will be eternally grateful. Murielle Dorf has been a patient here at Audibel since 2009 and has had multiple sets of different aids. She walked into the office recently because she was having some issues with her aid, Ron took her back, fixed her issue and Murielle walked out telling us “We made her day!”

Lawrence Tidswell was referred by a friend and came in for his first appointment back in February because he knew his hearing was getting worse. Lawrence and his wife Kim live in Spain but stay down here in Florida a couple months out of the year. He came in recently saying his aid wasn’t working, a few adjustments later he walked out with his aid working and happy as can be.

Like most people, I waited too long to admit that I had a hearing problem. But finally I did the research and about a year ago went to Audibel. I choose the facility located at 3534 Clark Rd., Sarasota, FL 34231.
Now I do not have to ask my wife or friends to repeat what they say nearly as often. Before it was difficult to participate in the conversation when out with friends at a restaurant – the background noise would drown out my ability to hear what was being said. I would simply sit there and smile a lot (which I do not do well). It was really embarrassing to answer a question that you thought you heard someone as you, only to find out that they had asked you something completely different! There is a special setting that filters out most of the unwanted background noise which makes being in a crowd enjoyable again. I could go on and on with specifics, but the bottom line is that my hearing aids that do a credible job and other people that make it happen. I can only speak when they develop a hearing deficiency. Maybe there are other hearing aids that do a credible job and other people that make it happen. I can only speak to the professional service and attention that one receives from Kevin Wagner and his office assistant, Sharon. Audibel’s products have so many different settings available and Kevin knows how to tailor them to each customer’s individual needs. The benefits continue to get better as I return for a periodic maintenance and fine tuning.

My new Audibel hearing aids are beautiful and wonderful! I can hardly feel them and can’t even see them! Once you get use to them they are easy to put in. It’s almost like my own normal hearing is back!

“I visited the office for hearing test I already knew there was a problem, and I was right! I failed the test! Tried going for a loan to purchase devices I needed and was denied the loan. “I suspected I had a hearing problem and finally decided to find out for sure. I made an appointment for a free hearing test with a company I saw on Facebook. Then, because a friend recommended them, I also made an appointment with Audibel. I kept both appointments, trying to get a feel for how these companies present their products to their customers. The difference between the two was incredible. For one thing, Audibel’s testing was much more thorough and the hearing specialist actually fitted me with free hearing aids to try at home for a few days. The first thing I noticed leaving the office was birds singing. I realized I hadn’t been hearing their songs until I got the test hearing aids.
