My name is Rick Stegbauer, Licensed Hearing Aid specialist at Audibel Hearing Center. Since joining the Audibel family in 2007 it has been my pleasure to help many different families experience better hearing. Keeping our patients connected to the busy world we live in is my main focus. It is my goal to make sure that each person “stays in the game!” and continues to maintain a high quality of life as long as they can.
Keith Stegbauer, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Hello and thanks for stopping by. My name is Keith Stegbauer. I am currently in my seventh year of fitting hearing aids in the St. Petersburg area. It is truly a blessing to be able to re-connect people back to their friends, family and the world! I have helped people who have come in without any hope, as some had given one or more attempts at hearing aids. Others had been told there’s nothing more that can be done. I’ve also helped people who didn’t know how much they were missing in life until they tried hearing aids based on a recommendation of a loved one or friend. It is wonderful being a part of the Audibel family as the quality of the hearing products and services are second to none; and as many of us who have been affected by hearing loss within our own families would demand, I believe in giving nothing but the best to people who put their trust in me for their hearing care.
I am a Florida native and have resided in Pinellas County for most of my life, although I lived in New England while completing my bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State. When I am not taking care of people’s hearing, I love spending time with my two girls, Kylie (3) and Mackenzie (1) and most of all, my loving wife. I also give my time to coaching high school baseball in the area.
Anthony Carbone, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Hello, my name is Anthony Carbone. Since 2009, I have been a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist with Audibel. As a child my brother suffered from Rubella and as a result he is deaf, making it nearly impossible to communicate with him. This experience gave me the drive and desire to help those who have difficulty hearing. I met Mike Wheeler, president of Audibel Hearing Center, and with his encouragement and guidance I received my license. Since then, I have had the pleasure of giving our patients and their loved ones the quality of life they deserve.

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”. Being a licensed hearing aid specialist with Audibel has ignited a passion for restoring one’s ability to once again understand conversation with friends, with family. I have seen the sad division of loved ones due to the frustrating nature of a hearing loss in the household, I have seen socially active men and women withdraw and isolate themselves from their favorite activities since conversation has become a burden to them and everyone around is tired of repeating. Don’t you know it doesn’t have to be like this? I want to help you regain what you’ve been missing for so long. I want to help you get back in touch with the world around you! I LOVE to see the delight in my patient’s face simply because we’ve worked together to restore the quality of their life that has been missing.”
James Cunningham, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
I have been a Hearing Aid Specialist with Audibel since 2009. I was a patient of Audibel for years before I came to work for them. When I was 14 years old, a rifle went off in a small bedroom damaging my hearing. My wife finally convinced me to seek help 26 years later. After hearing what I have been missing for all those years. I decided to help others hear better. I now have a very fulfilling career helping people hear better.
