This was an awesome place to go for hearing aids…. The issue at hand is cost…. If you rely on Social Security income, It is important to come to the realization that hearing aids are for those who can afford them…. if you have about $4000 to 5000 then this would be the place I would suggest. Again, if you rely on Social Security income, it may be time to accept the fact that you have hearing loss that you will be unable to address. I hope this was helpful.

My husband and I were both assess. Mr Brown was awesome, took a lot of time and answered all of our questions. He had to take molds of my ear canals to get a custom fit for me and my tiny canals! We were highly satisfied. Most of all he was very patient with me when I struggled to insert the ear piece.

Just moved to this area, this Audibel business was very easy to make an appointment ( followed up with a text as a reminder) and professional!! My appointment was due to a weak right aide battery. At my appointment scheduling I asked if there’s a fee, receptionist wasn’t sure. The following day she called to let me know there was a fee. Appointment day I was warmly greeted, and escorted to technician. He was very thorough and informative going through my file. He then responded that my warranty was expired 2 weeks ago which he promptly reached out to Audibel on the phone. The company said they would replace the hearing aide at no cost !!! A truly great business experience!!!

Every one was very nice from the 2 girls in the front office and the doctor. My husband has hearing aids but he was very impressed with this doctor and all the testing he did. My husband said the next time I need hearing aids I will definitely change over to this doctor. Where my husband went they tested him but nothing like Audibel did on me. So instead of getting one new patient you got two.

I purchased my hearing at a company other than Audibel. When I called to ask about a broken receiver wire. The technician immediately asked for the serial number and said the hearing aid was under warranty and to come in at a scheduled time. Dr Keith cleaned both my hearing aides. Attached a new receiver. Ran tests on both aides. Then gave me a hearing test and adjusted to my latest results. I had another problem that Dr Keith worked very hard to try to solve. I highly recommend the Audibel location at 1598 62nd Ave North in St Petersburg for their professionalism.

Four doctors kept on telling me that I needed a hearing test because my left ear would plug up intermittently. I was very adamant about getting a hearing test because I didn't think I had any problem. I made an appointment at Audibel and found out that I do have mild hearing loss. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything to me that I do have hearing loss that I need to check annually. The testing was very in-depth, and other doctor said I had no wax but yet the doctor removed ear wax and you could see him remove it on a huge screen. Highly technical testing and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming here.

I came with my sister to her appointment knowing she definitely needed help hearing,. Keith was so thorough with his Hearing tests and the difference with the aids in her ears is unbelievable. We can now have a conversation without me having to repeat just about every thing I said. Thank you Keith!! I went back with her to her follow-up appointment and she insisted that I also get a hearing test. While not as deficient as she is, I am not hearing certain sounds that may affect my balance. I wasn't ready to commit to buying them at that visit, but I am wearing them for a trial period so I can see if I can notice any improvement. I do admit that I had 3 falls in the last 2 years prior to seeing Keith and I have been concerned about my balance.

My 94 year old mom has had hearing aids for 3 years. They were originally purchased near her home in the Northeast. The past 6 months have been increasingly difficult for her and after going to an ENT to be evaluated for ear wax and tending to the upkeep of her aids, we were totally at a loss with how to help her. While we were vacationing in Florida, we made an appointment at Audibel’s Spring Hill location and it could not have gone any better. Christina was an angel. Her knowledge, patience and empathy were unmatched. She was extremely thorough as well and we realized mom’s hearing had declined significantly and she needed new hearing aids which was the last thing we expected. I am happy to say that Christina changed her life! Mom is more engaged and so much happier! We cannot thank her enough for her hard work and compassion. I have had hearing aids I purchased in Wisconsin and never could get them to work the way I expected them to. I took them to Audibel to get them linked to my new phone and they reset all the settings on my hearing aids after doing a new hearing test that was so much more involved than any I have ever had. I have not been able to hear this well in over a decade. On my way home I heard my turn signal for the first time in years. I can’t thank you enough. Just moved to this area, this Audibel business was very easy to make an appointment ( followed up with a text as a reminder) and professional!! My appointment was due to a weak right aide battery. At my appointment scheduling I asked if there’s a fee, receptionist wasn’t sure. The following day she called to let me know there was a fee. Appointment day I was warmly greeted, and escorted to technician. He was very thorough and informative going through my file. He then responded that my warranty was expired 2 weeks ago which he promptly reached out to Audibel on the phone. The company said they would replace the hearing aide at no cost !!! A truly great business experience!!!

My husband had been with another hearing aid company for several years but was having some problems concerning the Bluetooth and clarity while watching TV which was the main reason we decided to look for another company. My mom is a hard case. She has significant hearing loss in her left ear, holes in both eardrums, and her right ear is completely deaf. Audibel fitted her with hearing aids in both ears—even the deaf one—and we were blown away by the AI technology. Sound picked up on her deaf side automatically transfers to the ear that can still hear, so it truly feels like she’s hearing with both ears. Incredible. The hearing aids also come with an app to adjust settings for TV or crowded places. The challenge is that my mom is 88, and she would sometimes accidentally change the settings, which meant repeated trips back to the clinic. That’s when Jay, the hearing specialist at Audibel’s South Lakeland clinic, became an absolute Godsend. Her patience, compassion, and expertise are unmatched. Jay took the time to truly understand my mom’s needs and reprogrammed everything to be fully automatic, so my mom doesn’t have to fidget with anything anymore. The best feature of all: my mom can now answer phone calls and FaceTime, and the sound goes directly into her hearing aids. This has been the biggest blessing—she actually hears clearly and responds correctly now.

I have now been to this local office for a hearing exam and two followups. Dr. Arroyo is very knowledgeable, patient, efficient and kind. The hearing exam can be daunting (if you actually have hearing loss) but she walks you through the fitting process very well and fits you with the most appropriate option based on your type of hearing loss. Alisha is doing a great job getting my hearing aids to work the way they are supposed to. I was ready to give up and quit with them all together, until she made some changes that Jill apparently had fumbled on sound and power settings. I am able to wear them without be annoyed with them and able to hear sounds without getting a lot of screeching noise in my ears for no apparent reason. As of January 2026 the update is the screeching has returned and the hearing aids change the settings on their own??? I have volume in my hearing aids but not clarity??? And now she tells me my hearing aids need to be up dated with new ones that cost around $5300. I am discussed with the 7000 dollar ones they have been working on since I bought them. I am shopping hearing aids you are definitely the most expensive but not the best.

I came in to have my hearing aids repaired. The audiologist Taylor looked at them and said she could repair them and asked do they work ok. The reality is they don't. Over the last 6 years I've had several different ones and none of them worked very well. My hearing loss is 50% in my left ear and 85% in the right. I've been told hearing aids won't help me much if at all. Taylor said she wasn't sure if her hearing aids would work for me and asked if I would be interested in trying hers while mine were out for repairs. I agreed to try them and the improvement was like night and day. For the first time in years I can hear clearly even in a crowd. I never thought my hearing would ever be good again but thanks to Taylor and Audible my hearing is back. The difference is amazing and even my friends have noticed how much my hearing has improved.

Good afternoon! Last week I had my first hearing appointment in probably 25 years. Susan greeted me and I knew right away this was the place for me. Susan went out of her way to give me directions to somewhere completely not related to hearing on 19. I scheduled an appointment and I got to go in immediately! I met Taylor and she spent an hour and 45 minutes with me. I never knew so much about ears and how our hearing connects to our brain-I forget the vernacular so my apologies. We just had an excellent experience in getting my wife's first hearing aids at the Audibel Hearing Center. Their hearing aid specialist, Scott Smith, was great. He was knowledgeable, professional, well-spoken and put us at ease. On our first visit, he conducted hearing tests and helped us select a hearing which met our needs. He answered all of our questions and got our insurance provider (TruHearing via Humana) on the phone to confirm coverage and answer additional questions. On our second visit, he set up the hearing aids and gave my wife hands on training in using them. The entire process, from our initial call to TruHearing (who found Audibel for us and booked an appointment) to actually getting the hearing aids "installed" only took 10 days!

For many years my husband missed out on a lot of things.He wasn’t able to hear the message the preacher was giving. At the theatre he had to wear the “hearing impaired headphones”. I also had to help him out when we went out to eat at restaurants or simply trying to communicate. All of this took place because we weren’t able to afford new hearing aids. One unexpected day, my husband decided to take his old hearing aids to see if they could be fixed. Unfortunately they couldn’t. Then he had a hearing test done. We explained to the tech what our financial situation was, she stepped out of the room and made sure we didn’t leave until we had worked something out. She had spoken with the owner. Needless to say I was very touched. My husband got hearing aids! Thanks to Mr. Wheeler for such a blessing! We will be eternally grateful. Now, my husband can enjoy the beautiful songs of birds, singing, and so much more. Your staff was amazing also, they waited for me to end my day at work so that I could be able to come in. Lawrence Tidswell was referred by a friend and came in for his first appointment back in February because he knew his hearing was getting worse. Lawrence and his wife Kim live in Spain but stay down here in Florida a couple months out of the year. He came in recently saying his aid wasn’t working, a few adjustments later he walked out with his aid working and happy as can be.

Like most people, I waited too long to admit that I had a hearing problem. But finally I did the research and about a year ago went to Audibel. I choose the facility located at 3534 Clark Rd., Sarasota, FL 34231.
Now I do not have to ask my wife or friends to repeat what they say nearly as often. Before it was difficult to participate in the conversation when out with friends at a restaurant – the background noise would drown out my ability to hear what was being said. I would simply sit there and smile a lot (which I do not do well). It was really embarrassing to answer a question that you thought you heard someone as you, only to find out that they had asked you something completely different! There is a special setting that filters out most of the unwanted background noise which makes being in a crowd enjoyable again. I could go on and on with specifics, but the bottom line is that my hearing aids that do a credible job and other people that make it happen. I can only speak when they develop a hearing deficiency. Maybe there are other hearing aids that do a credible job and other people that make it happen. I can only speak to the professional service and attention that one receives from Kevin Wagner and his office assistant, Sharon. Audibel’s products have so many different settings available and Kevin knows how to tailor them to each customer’s individual needs. The benefits continue to get better as I return for a periodic maintenance and fine tuning.

“I visited the office for hearing test I already knew there was a problem, and I was right! I failed the test! Tried going for a loan to purchase devices I needed and was denied the loan. “I suspected I had a hearing problem and finally decided to find out for sure. I made an appointment for a free hearing test with a company I saw on Facebook. Then, because a friend recommended them, I also made an appointment with Audibel. I kept both appointments, trying to get a feel for how these companies present their products to their customers. The difference between the two was incredible. For one thing, Audibel’s testing was much more thorough and the hearing specialist actually fitted me with free hearing aids to try at home for a few days. The first thing I noticed leaving the office was birds singing. I realized I hadn’t been hearing their songs until I got the test hearing aids.
